Spring Hill M.B. Church to host “An Evening of Praise” Musical Concert

Just in case you didn’t get what you wanted for Christmas, you can surely get it at 5:00 p.m. on January 11, 2025, at Spring Hill M.B. Church, 815 Mission 66, Vicksburg, Mississippi. That’s right – an “Evening of Praise”.

Spring Hill will be hosting an exciting, spirit-filled, and free gospel concert featuring local and nationally known artists. Special guest, Pastor Teddy Cross, was a member of Willie Neal Johnson and the Gospel Keynotes, who have been nominated for a Grammy award and were inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in Detroit, Michigan.  Guitarist, Maurice Morgan, a former musician with the Keynotes and other quartet groups, including the Canton Spirituals and the Pilgrim Jubilees will be there. His current album, “Rightful Heir”, is on sale today at many outlets.  

Jerrett Hampton, a member of the famed, popular, and 4-time Grammy-nominated, Mississippi Mass Choir, will be performing as a solo artist.

As a special treat, this event will feature (for the very first time), two female quartet groups and recording artists, The James Family of Utica and Faith of Brandon.  Both are dynamic female singing groups you don’t want to miss.

Rounding out the slate of performers will be special friends and recording artists, The Sons of Abraham, of Jackson.The program hosts, The Spring Hill Male Chorus, will lift your soul and spirits with some of their great gospel selections.
