St. Al adds another win after defeating Manchester 9-4

Yazoo City, Miss.-St. Aloysius High School baseball team made a comeback to pick up a road win against Manchester Academy. The Flashes came out with a 9-4 win to improve to 4-3 on the year under Head Coach Jay Harper.
St. Al trailed 4-0 most of the game but the fifth inning was a true game changer for the Flashes. They picked up eight runs in the fifth, beginning with a double by Sadler Lambiotte. Robert Lee, Keller Bradley, Clark Hobson, and Lambiotte all singled in the fifth to bring in runs to take the 8-4 lead.
Hobson hit a double in the seventh to add the final run of the night as the Flashes captured the 9-4 win. Willam Roberson, Hobson(3 RBIs) and Lambiotte(2 RBIs) all finished with two hits. Lee and Keller Bradley(1 RBI) both had one hit while Laken Bradley hit an RBI. Walt Andrews pitched for five innings and struck out six batters while only allowing one hit. Keller Bradley struck out one batter.
The Flashes will travel to play TriCounty on Tuesday night.
The JV team also won 8-4 on Monday. Pierson Smith went 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs while Holden Davidson(1 RBI) and Scoot Melton(1 RBI) each had a hit. Mason Greene struck out five batters and Emerson Blackburn struck out one. Max Hargrave also hit an RBI.
