Summer Softball:WC defeated Florence 2-1 on Tuesday
Warren Central High School softball team pulled off a close 2-1 win over Florence on Tuesday.
Maddy Pant had two hits, including the final RBI to win the game. Anzley Keen also had two hits while Emily Muirhead and Mary Clell Allred each had one hit.
Late in the game, the Lady Eagles had a chance to tie things at 2-2 but Whitley Parks and MK Ferguson worked together to chase down a runner to get the final out.
WC will travel today to face Florence in an away game.
