Taylor Stamps earns spot on MC President’s List

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Taylor Stamps, a senior nursing student at Mississippi College, made the President’s List for Spring 2025 with a 4.0 GPA.

Taylor is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Derrick Stamps, Vicksburg Fire Department Chief, and is a 2023 graduate of Vicksburg High School. During her time at VHS, she was a Varsity Cheerleader Captain, participated in Varsity Track, Key Club, Student Council, Student Ambassador, and the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy.

Some of her honors and awards include the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, selection as a Senior Homecoming Maid, All-American Cheerleader, and membership in the National Blue Ribbon Student of Excellence Group.

“I take pride in her faith and the success she is achieving,” said Taylor’s father, Chief Stamps.
