Terry High School’s Injured Football Player Has Been Treated and Released
The Terry High School football player who was injured in last night’s game against Vicksburg High has been treated and released from the hospital. He sustained a concussion and received an examination by the staff at Merritt Health Emergency Room and was cleared to go home.
In the third quarter of last night’s game, the senior football player had to receive medical attention from trainers and paramedics from the Vicksburg Fire Department. A few minutes later he was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
While he was receiving medical treatment on the field, people from the Vicksburg High School stands played gospel music until the game resumed.
Prayers for the young athlete are needed as he recovers from his injury.
