The Flashettes are ready for Nationals

Vicksburg, Miss.-The St. Aloysius Flashette Dance Team is all pumped up about Nationals. January 31-February 2nd is when the Flashettes will be at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida to compete for first place.

The Flashettes will arrive on a Thursday and compete on Friday where they will learn if they will advance to the Saturday competition. Competing at Nationals comes just a few months after the Flashettes won their 10th consecutive State Championship where they were led by Head Coach Chesley Lambiotte.
2025 marks the fourth time that the Flashettes advance to Nationals. They will compete in the small varsity kick and the small varsity game day. The team is under the leadership of Captain and MAIS All-Star Ryan Hadley Grey who is more than confident that her team can reach new heights this year.

“I think we are extremely prepared and we’ve been working very hard and nonstop,” Grey said. “We never stopped since football season and we have morning practices and workouts each week so I know we’re very ready.”
Lambiotte choreographed the Flashettes’ game routine with the help of Maddie Stokes while Nick Clement helped out back in August.
In October, the Flashettes won their 10th state title where they came in first place in the Kick and Pom Dance.

“I honestly wasn’t sure about reaching 10 because I thought it would be too good to be true to be the only senior that gets to 10 but then it happened and we were thrilled but now it’s a lot more pressure to keep going,” Grey said.
The Flashettes are now asking for community support by viewing their National Competition where they will provide a link on Instagram.
Be sure to wish the Flashettes safe travels as they head to Orlando in a couple of weeks.
