The person killed after being struck by a vehicle on Indiana Avenue victim has been identified

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace has revealed the name of the individual who was struck by a vehicle and killed on Indiana Avenue last night.

Just after 6 p.m., Eugene Windom, 32, of Vicksburg left on foot from a friend’s house in the 6000 block of Indiana Avenue. When he got to the roadway he was struck and killed by a vehicle heading north/west on Indiana.

Sheriff Pace stated his department was investigating but they have asked the Highway Patrol accident reconstruction team to assist in the investigation.

Once the investigation is complete the information will be given to the District Attorneys office.
