The Riptides won their second consecutive softball tournament over the weekend as they captured the USA Tournament Championship in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The Riptides, who are coached by Mike Foley and Brian Britton, went 7-0 over the weekend where Kyleigh Cooper was named MVP. The team consists of five Vicksburg athletes: Cooper, Ruthie Britton, Presley Brister, Whitley Parks and Anzley Keen.
The Riptides are now 9-4 on the season.
