Vicksburg, Miss.-Three members of the Vicksburg High School powerlifting team will advance to the North State Championship. LeAndrew Drake(181 class) and Karter Thomas(308 Class)finished as district champions in their division while J’Marion Young(114 class) finished third in his division.

The Gators are led by Powerlifting Head Coach DeCorey Knight Sr. The team consists of Karter Thomas, LeAndrew Drake, J’Marion Young, Jayden Lee, Casey Brown, Brandon Nailor, Jayden Woods, TeJay McKinney, and Willie Edmond.

The North State will be held on February 28 at Lake Cormorant.
