VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Tristan Jamison, a Warren Central High School baseball player, received his first official athletic scholarship. Jamison announced on social media that Hinds Community has officially offered him a scholarship.

Last season, Jamison was a standout sophomore who helped the Vikings to a 20-11 record under Head Coach Randy Broome. He finished that year with 28 hits, .304 batting, and 24 RBIs while making both the All-County and All-District teams. The Vikings reached the North State Championship last season with the help of Jamison.

Jamison is now a junior and has not officially committed to any collegiate program. He also plays football for WC.
