VHS boys’ basketball went 7-2 at the Co-Lin Camp

The Vicksburg High School boys’ basketball team went 7-2 at the Copiah-Lincoln Camp this week.

Kris Washington, Mincer Minor IV, Javeion Perkins, and Jadarius Henderson were the main contributors at Co-Lin. Last week, VHS traveled to Plano, Texas where they went 3-1.

“This is a young team full of resilience in the front and backcourt,” VHS Head Coach Kelvin Carter said.

The junior varsity team also dominated as they went 6-1 as Jordan Clay, Wallyss Curry, and Jaquez Marshall scored double-digits in all seven games.
