VHS cheerleaders won multiple First Place Awards at the UCA Camp

Vicksburg High School football cheerleaders traveled to the University of Southern Mississippi for the UCA Camp last week where they won multiple first-place awards.

At camp, the ladies came in first place in the sideline, varsity cheer, and overall spirit/band chant and they also won the spirit banana. VHS secured second place in the camp routine as well. The 2024 Leadership Award went to Captain Lauren Flagg, Co-Captain Kelie Brown, and Co-Captain Saniyya Brown.

An additional four cheerleaders Lauren Flagg, Key’Asia Scott, Kelie Brown, & Trinity McGloster received All-American honors at USM due to their excellent performances.

VHS is coached by Aerial Patten and they will soon be cheering at the Gator football games.
