VHS Ninth Grade Football Team Finished Tuesday with a 8-2 Win Over Rosa Scott

After an intense defensive battle, the Vicksburg High School Ninth Grade Football Team wrapped up Tuesday night with an 8-2 win over Rosa Scott.

The Gators got on the board from a 65-yard pass from Jordan Cruthirds to Jayden Stewart. Jaquez Jones scored the two-point conversion after a quick pass from Cruthirds.

Defensively, the Gators made multiple stops as Corbin Walker came up with an interception. Deveyon Beard had a total of five tackles(3 for loss) in the win.

Last night’s win was the Gators’ second game in a row where the defense allowed zero points.

VHS will travel to play Clinton on Tuesday.
