VHS volleyball defeats Lady Tigers

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN)— Vicksburg High School’s varsity volleyball team earned a dominant victory Tuesday, defeating the Jefferson County Tigers. The Missy Gators won by scores of 25-17, 25-21 and 25-13.

Jordan Grace led the way with 14 points and four digs, while Jamiya Stewart added 8 points and 4 digs. Jermeria Wright contributed 7 points and 4 digs, and Divine Tulloch finished with 8 points and 2 digs.

Other key contributors included Jada Erwin with 6 points and 5 digs, Teagan Stewart with 6 points and 3 digs, Dallas West with 7 points and 1 dig, and Alaina Williams with 4 points.

The win over the Lady Tigers improved Vicksburg’s record to 7-1 on the season.
