CLEARWATER, Florida.(VDN)—Vicksburg native Martin “Trey” Brown earned a first-round TKO victory over Lamar Bolden on Friday night in a fight hosted by Star Fight Productions in Clearwater, Florida.

The bout was no contest for Brown, who quickly handled business by landing multiple blows to Bolden’s head. At one point, Brown landed a nasty left hook followed by a powerful right that sent Bolden to the floor.

Just as quickly as the fight began, it ended, giving Brown another win and improving his professional boxing record to 7-0. The 40-year-old continues to dominate his competition.

In May, Brown defeated Saul Almeida by unanimous decision in a four-round bout. He also scored a knockout victory over Enoch Adonai on his 40th birthday last year.

Brown shows no signs of slowing down as he continues to beat younger opponents. While his next fight has not been officially scheduled, the Vicksburg Daily News will provide updates once more information becomes available.
