Vikings Defeated Ridgeland; Boys Clinched District Championship

Vicksburg, Miss.-Warren Central High School soccer teams defeated Ridgeland on Tuesday night to collect district wins.
The Lady Vikes won 2-1 after both goals were scored within the first 20 minutes of the game. Allie Mason scored one goal with the assist coming from Addi Mullen. Brooke Steed also scored a goal as Mason picked up the assist.
Hayleigh Simmons grabbed eight saves as WC improved to 15-4-1 and 5-1 in district play.
WC Boys:
The Vikings officially won their second consecutive district championship after shutting out the Titans 5-0 last night.
Jacob Porter scored three goals in the first half which were followed by goals from Charlie Esparza and Shiem Lott. Nick Lee, Reed McClurg, Luke Bond, and Duke Esparza. Jamarian Shelly grabbed one save.
The Vikings will travel to play Neshoba Central on Friday.
