Waking Ned Devine and free popcorn at the Strand Theatre April 5

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN)– David Rorick Photography is sponsoring a screening of Waking Ned Devine, a 1998 comedy about a small Irish village and a surprise lottery winner on Saturday, April 5th starting at 7:00pm. The screening will take place at the Strand Theatre located at, 717 Clay Street, Vicksburg, MS.

In the film, Jackie O’Shea discovers that someone in his town has won the lottery. After some investigating, he finds out the winner is Ned Devine—who, unfortunately, cannot claim the prize. Jackie and his best friend, Michael O’Sullivan, devise a plan to secure the winnings, but complications arise along the way.

Tickets for Waking Ned Devine are $10 at the door or $9 in advance at Highway 61 Coffeehouse, and as always, popcorn is free.
