Warren Central student aims to inspire through content creation
VICKSBURG, Miss.(VDN)—Eddie Walls Jr., a Warren Central High School student, has plans to become a successful content creator. He produces a variety of videos on social media and hopes to continue improving his craft to reach a larger audience.
“I don’t stick to one form of content,” Walls said. “I do fashion videos, motivational videos, gaming videos—just all types. We don’t have a lot of content creators from Vicksburg, so I want to be one that comes out of my hometown.”
Walls said many people ask him about his content, and he hopes to be an outlet and inspiration for other young creators.
“I also want to show people that Vicksburg isn’t really bad, and that there are kids out here doing positive things and staying out of trouble,” he said.
Walls credits popular streamer Kai Cenat—who has nearly 20 million followers on TikTok—as one of his biggest influences.
With support from his family, Walls recently upgraded his equipment and is focused on growing his audience. He currently has more than 4,000 followers on TikTok, where one of his videos has reached 1.6 million views.
“I most definitely want to do this for a living,” he said. “It’s not a stressful job—I’m having fun and I encourage others to create.”
He continues to motivate others who want to start content creation.
“Go right in and don’t think too hard on it,” Walls said. “Believe in yourself, trust in God, and trust the process.”
