Warren County Ravens Won Their Third Consecutive Championship

Vicksburg, Miss.–The Warren County Ravens won the 12U football championship for the third consecutive year. The team finished with a perfect 12-0 record under Head Coach Harold Knight who successfully completed a 3-peat.Â
The beginning of the season started rocky as Knight feared that he wouldn’t have enough players to play. After adding a few new players on his roster such as JaColby Whittaker, the Ravens were set to have their season with returning athletes Taylor Cosby, Michael Davis, Brandon Smith Jr., T.J. Strong, Kaleb Sims, and J Green.
At the start of the season, the Ravens took down Yazoo City 26-0 which was followed by a 20-0 shutout against the Canton Jaguars. The Next Level Ducks and the Byram Bulldogs would be the two toughest competitors for the Ravens but they came out on top with scores of 6-0 and 15-14.
By the time the Ravens entered the playoffs, they had only allowed two touchdowns the whole season. They quickly knocked off the Ridgeland Titans 32-0 before shutting out the Ducks 6-0 to advance to the championship game.
The Super Bowl consisted of a rematch between the Ravens and the Byram Bulldogs. The Ravens came out on top once more with a final score of 13-6.
The Ravens only allowed three touchdowns the whole season where teams averaged 1.6 points per game. They were coached by Harold Knight, Corey Perkins, Prentiss Magee, Troy Rogers, Tim Brown, Jeremy Judge(founder), and Vance Gray(consultant).
The Warren County Ravens are now in their offseason as they will prepare to win another championship in 2025.
