WC advances to second round after putting away South Panola

Batesville, Miss.-Warren Central High School boys’ basketball team advances to the second round of the playoffs after taking down South Panola 56-42. The win puts the Vikings on the road next week at Mississippi Valley State University to face their next opponent.

Roosevelt Harris Jr. led the way with 15 points on the board while Robert Williams added nine points and eight rebounds. Nash Morgan also grabbed eight rebounds to go with his six points while Caleb Lane(four rebounds), DJ Gibbs, and Micah Moore all had six points each. Jaylon Winters finished with four points and four rebounds while Larry Rebounds Jr. pulled down five rebounds and scored two points.

WC will now face the winner of Ridgeland(26-4) vs. Lake Cormorant(20-7) next Friday at Mississippi Valley State University.
