Flashes earned a 6-4 win over Pelahatchie

Vicksburg, Miss.-The St. Aloysius High School baseball team picked up a road win against Pelahatchie on Friday, coming out with a 6-4 victory. The Flashes earned all their runs in the first inning, improving to 2-2 on the year.
William Roberson got the lone hit of the night for St. Al as Max Hargrave, Laken Bradley(walk), Keller Bradley(walk), Clark Hobson(walk), and Pierson Smith all hit RBIs.
The game was called in the fourth inning for possible weather conditions.
The JV team took a 10-9 loss. Pierson Smith hit a solo home run and finished with three hits. Scoot Melton had two doubles and four RBIs while Holden Davidson(2 RBIs) and Evan Mallard both had a hit.
The Flashes will travel to play Prairie View Academy on Monday.
VHS:
Vicksburg High lost 16-1 to Hattiesburg High last night. On Monday, they will host Humphrey’s County.
WC:
Warren Central tied with Hartfield Academy 1-1 as the game was called in the second inning for weather. Trace Hood hit the RBI for the Vikings and Lester Martin had one hit. Nathaniel Moore struck out two batters.
WC is scheduled to host D’lbervville on Saturday at 4 p.m.
