WC and VHS land a total of 7 athletes on the All-District Girls’ Soccer Team

VICKSBURG, Miss.—Seven local athletes made the Girls’ All-District Soccer Team. Warren Central High School landed five on the list and Vicksburg High School had two athletes named to the team.

WC’s Ashley Bowser, Sydney Hern, Melissa Herrle, Jordan Polk, and Brooke Steed all made the All-District Team. They helped the Lady Vikes to a 18-6-1 season under Head Coach Jeremy Lawrence. WC also finished as district champions as Jordan Polk led the team with 28 goals.

Trinity McGloster and Amari Johnson represented the Missy Gators on the All-District Team. They recently starred under Head Coach Maurice Gilliam as VHS finished with an 13-7 record and made it to the first round of the playoffs. Johnson finished with 24 goals and 15 assists while McGloster brought in 20 goals and 18 assists.
