WC Tennis Team Secures a Win Over Neshoba Central

VICKSBURG, Miss.—Warren Central High School’s tennis team is eyeing a district championship after defeating Neshoba Central 5-2 on Monday. With one more win, the Vikings will claim the district title.

Ivan Ozhereley took home in the boys singles with scores of 6-1 and 6-0. Luke Bond and Brady Taylor shut out Zach Smith and Jack Windham 6-0, 6-0 in the boys’ doubles while Sam Harris and Gray Lampkin came out victorious in the boy’s doubles 2(6-0,6-1).

Sydney Sullivan and Lilli Feibelman won the girls’ doubles 1 with scores of 6-2 and 6-0, while Ellie Tennison and Avery Hern won the girls’ doubles 2(5-0). WC’s only two losses came from the mixed doubles and girls’ singles.
