17-year-old arrested for statutory rape

A teenager was arrested for statutory rape on Friday morning by Warren County Sheriff Deputies.

17-year-old Robert Early has been charged with one count of statutory rape of a child under 14. The victim in this case is 12-years-old.

Early appeared before Judge Marcie Southerland where she denied bail. He was arrested on Locust Street by WCSO deputies and members of the Vicksburg Police Department after a crime stoppers tip came in at about 2:00 a.m.
