18-wheeler chased into downtown Vicksburg on Sunday morning

An 18-wheeler caused a disturbance in downtown Vicksburg on Sunday morning where it failed to stop for law enforcement.

The pursuit began in Louisiana with the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office who followed the 18-wheeler into Vicksburg at around 1:40 a.m. The Vicksburg Police Department turned on their blue lights to assist the MPSO but the chase ended due to the truck’s route and danger to the public.

At this time it is unclear on why MPSO was pursuing the vehicle.
