Body found hanging from a tree

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 

Okolona police are investigating a body hanging from a tree.

The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Jerrel Gillentine Jr., of Golden, Mississippi.

Police Chief Tommy Ivy mentioned that they got a call at around 4 p.m. on Thursday.

The body has been sent the the Mississippi Crime Lab for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
