18-year-old murder suspect receives a $4 million bond

A man given $4 million bond in a July homicide has been brought back to Mississippi to face a court date.
Perrion Johnson, 18, of Vicksburg fled to Austin, Texas, where he was arrested on Wednesday, November 8. 2023. He was extradited back to Mississippi and appeared before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. He has been charged with Murder, Drive-By-Shooting, three counts of Aggravated Assault and Shooting into an Establishment, resulting from an incident on Harrison Street on July 18, 2023, in which 22-year-old Preston Wilson was killed.
Johnson’s bond was set at $4,000,000 and he was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
