Port Gibson basketball players receive All-District honors

The boys’ basketball team at Port Gibson High School had several members who recently received All-District honors.

Kam Brown, the team’s star player, was named the District Player of the Year.

Additionally, Hulon Newsome was recognized as the District Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year. The Blue Waves currently have a record of 15-12, with a district record of 7-1.

Their next game will be held on Tuesday against Enterprise Clarke, which they will host.
