Warren Central Indoor Percussion wraps up their season as world semifinalist

DAYTON, OH. (VDN) — Warren Central Indoor Percussion had an extremely successful 2025 season. The team competed in the WGI World Championship over the weekend in Dayton, Ohio, earning a top-twenty slot in the world.

Over the first two weeks of April, hundreds of ensembles sought to claim a world championship title in the scholastic and independent divisions, beginning with Color Guard competition from April 3-5.

Percussion followed the Guard action from April 10-12, with Warren Central Indoor Percussion placing 19th in the world.

The award-winning indoor program concluded Warren Central Indoor percussion team’s season with the following achievements and awards:

  • Collierville High School (TN) Bronze (3rd place)
  • Mississippi Indoor Association State Championship Bronze (3rd place)
  • WGI Sport of the Art Jackson Regional Finalist
  • WGI Sport of the Art Dallas Regional Champions (Gold Medalist)
  • WGI 2025 World Championship Semifinalists (19th in the world)

With the team having such a successful and reputable run, Viking fans, community members, and sports enthusiasts have been noted cheering for an encore performance of the award-winning show to officially close out the season.
