Warren Central to hold Vikettes dance team tryouts Feb. 17–21

VICKSBURG, Miss.(VDN) — Warren Central High School will hold tryouts for its Vikettes dance team later this month, giving students the opportunity to earn a spot on one of the school’s premier spirit groups.

Tryouts are scheduled for Feb. 17–21, with sessions running 4–6:30 p.m. each day in Gym A. The final tryout and evaluation will take place on Feb. 21.

The tryout process will cover team expectations, dance styles and performances, and conclude with a final evaluation on the last day. The event is open to all interested students.

Organizers encourage participants to come prepared and confident as they showcase their skills and passion for dance.

The Vikettes are known for their performances at school and community events and play a visible role in school spirit throughout the year.

Students interested in joining are encouraged to attend all scheduled sessions.
