Mia Grace Owen crowned Warren Central High School’s 2026 Prom Queen

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Mia Grace Owen, a Warren Central High School senior, was crowned the school’s 2026 Prom Queen on Saturday during the annual event.

I’m incredibly honored to have been chosen as prom queen,”’Owen said. “This moment means so much to me, and I truly believe it’s a reflection of God’s plan and the amazing people he’s placed in my life. The night was already so special getting to dance the night away with my friends made it unforgettable. I’m so thankful for my family, friends, and classmates who have supported me every step of the way.”

She also served as prom committee president.

Owen most recently served as a captain on Warren Central’s football cheerleading team. A six-year veteran, she cheered the team to a state championship appearance and performed on the Mississippi State University field.

Owen is set to graduate from Warren Central next month and plans to attend Mississippi State University.
