A special leadership event will be hosted by the Vicksburg-Warren Partnership Chamber of Commerce Tuesday, Aug. 25.
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — A special leadership event will be hosted by the Vicksburg-Warren Partnership Chamber of Commerce Tuesday, Aug. 25.
The event is geared at increasing leadership. Leadership starts with resilience will be the aim of the workshop.
Locals will learn workplace stress costs U.S. businesses an estimated $300 billion annually through absenteeism, turnover, reduced productivity, and healthcare costs. Burnout isn’t just a personal challenge—it’s a business challenge.
Strong leaders play a critical role in creating workplaces where employees can thrive, communicate effectively, and remain engaged.
Attendees will learn in the Leadership Development class The Resilient Leader, aninteractive workshop led by Dr. Walter Frazier of Grace Christian Counseling Center, and learn practical strategies to recognize stress, prevent burnout, improve workplace communication, and build resilience within your team and organization.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Vicksburg-Warren County Chamber of Commerce located at 1622 Washington Street, Suite 263.
All participants will receive a copy of The Leader’s Guide to Resilience by Audrey Tang.
