Madisyn Kimble finishes Top 5 in three events at Diamond Series

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 

Madisyn Kimble continued to make a name for herself on the softball field after finishing in the top five in three categories at the 2026 Magnolia Sports Association Diamond Series.

The Vicksburg High School standout placed third in infield velocity, fourth in the 60-yard dash and fifth in exit velocity, ranking among the combine’s top performers.

A rising sophomore, Kimble recently completed her freshman season with the Missy Gators. She earned a spot on the VDN All-County Team after recording a .391 batting average, four RBIs and 24 stolen bases. In the circle, she struck out 12 batters during the season.

Kimble’s strong offensive performance also earned her the team’s Offensive Player of the Year award.

With three years of eligibility remaining, Kimble is expected to continue playing a key role for the Missy Gators.
