PCA uses late innings to push past Jackson Victors 12-4
Porter’s Chapel Academy defeated Jackson Victors 12-4 with a strong performance in the late innings, scoring six runs in the fourth and four in the fifth. The win avenged an earlier loss this season.

Porter’s Chapel Academy used a pair of big innings Thursday night to earn a 12-4 victory over Jackson Victors.
The Lady Eagles scored six runs in the fourth inning and four more in the fifth to pull away. PCA finished with 12 hits in the victory.
The win also gave the Lady Eagles a measure of revenge after suffering a 20-10 loss to Jackson Victors earlier this season.
The game was tied 2-2 entering the top of the fourth inning before PCA’s offense broke through. Raedon Busby, Marley Busby, Kiley Poole and Coley Potter each drove in runs as the Lady Eagles scored six times to take an 8-2 lead.
PCA continued its offensive surge with four more runs in the fifth. Lauren Rae Davis delivered a two-run double, while Raedon Busby and Mia Abdo each added an RBI single.
Davis finished with two hits and two RBIs, while Marley Busby recorded two hits and one RBI. Kadience Pugh also collected two hits.
Raedon Busby and Abdo each finished with one hit and two RBIs. Poole and Potter each had one hit and one RBI, while Marleigh Clark and Brooklynn Nicholson each added a hit.
Nicholson also contributed in the circle with four strikeouts, while Poole struck out one batter.
PCA (3-6) will host Benton Academy on Monday.
