Jayden Woods commits to Millsaps College for track and field
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —
Jayden Woods, a Vicksburg native, has committed to continue his track and field career at Millsaps College.
Woods announced his commitment on social media last week, sharing his decision to continue competing at the collegiate level.
In May, Woods captured the MHSAA state championship in the discus. He was one of five individual state champions for Vicksburg High School at the state meet.
Woods also helped lead the Gators to district and North State championships under head coach Paul Wilson Jr.
The Vicksburg Daily News will catch up with Woods during his official signing day ceremony at a later date.
