American Queen cease operations; all employees terminated

In a shocking announcement, American Queen has ceased operations as of today, February 20.

The riverboat was a frequent guest to the City of Vicksburg.

According to numerous reports employes were sent a statement telling them the news. Calls to the American Queen are met with voice message:

“American Queen has made the difficult decision to shut down and all future cruises have been canceled.”
