Auto burglaries reported near Lee Road

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace has reported auto burglaries in Warren County on Tuesday night and early this morning.
A string of auto break-ins occurred on Tuesday on Twin Creek with one additional one being discovered and reported today.
All the vehicles were unlocked.
“Sometime during the night Tuesday two car burglaries were reported in the Twin Creek area. Several people had video footage from security cameras. It appeared the individual was checking door handles and only targeting unlocked vehicles,” Pace said. “I would encourage people to help us help you by locking your vehicle. They are targeting unlocked vehicles. If the vehicle was locked they moved on to the next vehicle.
“Under no circumstance do I ever fault the victim with the crime, but you can help yourself from being the victim by locking your vehicle and never leaving a firearm or other valuables in the vehicle.
Stacy Rollison is lead investigator for Warren County and with the help of other Deputies was able to identify a suspect. That suspect was located by Matt Barnes with the VPD. Arrested for the burglaries is Brandon Nevels, 28, who will have an initial appearance at 3 p.m. He will be charged with auto burglary.
In a separate event this morning, two individuals were found breaking into a vehicle in the 4400 block of Lee Road. A resident called 911 but the two men were able to flee the area.
A separate arrest
Unrelated to those burglaries, on the 14th of November, detectives and deputies arrested an individual wanted by Madison Parish for their role in throwing a Molotov Cocktail.
Bo Wells, 36, who lives on Massey Road, was arrested after 9 p.m. on the night of the 14th. Wells will be charged in Madison Parish with the manufacture and deployment of an incendiary device.
A second suspect in that event, James Irwin, 35, turned himself into Madison Parish authorities yesterday.
