Accused Burglar Appears in Court

Antonio Turner, 18, of Vicksburg had his initial appearance in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, charged with Residential Burglary.  Appearing before Judge Angela Carpenter, he was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury on a $50,000 bond.

Man arrested for Weapons Possession

Darnell Bates

Darnell Bates, 18, of Vicksburg was taken into custody on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, after he was found to be in possession of a firearm reported stolen on October 25, 2023.

Charged with Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Bates appeared before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday, November 17, 2023.  His bond was set at $10,000 and he was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

Arrested for Methamphetamine Possession

Burrell Hynum

Burrell Hynum, 62, of Vicksburg was arrested Thursday, November 16, 2023, by officers responding to a reported theft at 601 Sports, 3500 Pemberton Square Boulevard. A search of Hynum’s car revealed illegal controlled substances, and he was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine.

Hynum appeared before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday, November 17, 2023, where he was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury on a $2,000 bond
