Bailey Academy honors four graduates during ceremony

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Bailey Academy celebrated four graduates Thursday night as family and friends gathered at Trinity Baptist Church to honor the students’ achievements.

Seniors Cambria LaSalle and Kensie Hill became the first official high school graduates of the homeschool program, which was established just a few years ago. Both students delivered final speeches before receiving their diplomas from administrators Samantha Bailey and Jennifer Wennekamp.

Allie Blount and Gracelynn Hill also graduated during the ceremony and will advance to junior high school.

The ceremony opened with a prayer from Pastor Bo Whitfield. LaToya Lott served as the guest speaker and shared words of inspiration and encouragement with the graduates.
