Bally’s Vicksburg recently won the company-wide well-being challenge, the Tour de Bally’s, and donated their $10,000 prize to Children’s of Mississippi.

Representatives from both Bally’s Vicksburg and Children’s of Mississippi, including Derrius Morris, Bally’s Vice President & General Manager; Katie Freeny, Development Specialist at Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital; and Phillip Doiron, Executive Director of the Vicksburg YMCA, were present during the donation ceremony.

The Tour de Bally’s challenge was designed around the concept of the Tour de France. Stationary bikes, provided by Vicksburg’s local YMCA and Wyatt’s Gym, were set up in back-of-house areas for employees to ride. Bally’s Vicksburg competed against 15 other casino properties and achieved the highest mileage, resulting in their win.

The prize for winning the challenge was a $10,000 donation to a charity of choice. Through a vote, Bally’s Vicksburg employees selected Children’s of Mississippi as the recipient.
