Vehicle shot in Vicksburg

A vehicle was reportedly shot in Vicksburg just after 10 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle reported a white Chrysler 300 had shot at her vehicle while driving on Military Avenue.

Just prior to that call, 911 received two calls of shots fired in the area of Indiana and Porters Chapel. It is currently unknown if those two reports are related.

Several units with the Vicksburg Police Department responded along with an investigator.

The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and 2 bullet holes were easily observable in the rear of the vehicle. The Circle K at North Frontage and Indiana was uninvolved in the shooting other than the driver of the vehicle felt it was a safe place to stop.
