Bre McDowell elected Jr. Class President at Alcorn State University

LORMAN, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg native Bre McDowell has been elected Junior Class President at Alcorn State University. McDowell officially won the election last month in March and will officially serve as President in the 2025-2026 school year. She currently serves as the Sophomore Class Vice President until she takes on her new role next school year.
Bre graduated from Warren Central High School in 2023, where she played basketball. Since attending Alcorn State University, she has been voted Freshman of the Year and Sophomore Class Vice President, as well as a Brave Ambassador. She also recently became a member of the Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
McDowell is now majoring in Elementary Education.
