Carmelo Clark receives his first football scholarship offers

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Warren Central High School football player Carmelo Clark has received his first official scholarship offers. The offensive lineman has now received offers to play at Hinds Community College and East Central Community College.

Clark played a big role in WC’s success last season under Head Coach Josh Morgan. He blocked for the team that had a total of 2,461 rushing yards and 1,413 passing yards. Clark also made the All-County and All-District teams last season as WC finished with a 9-4 record, along with winning a district championship.

Carmelo Clark is a 6’3 offensive lineman who is a rising senior for the Vikings. They will face Madison-Ridgeland Academy on Thursday at home for their spring game.
