Carr scored 22 points to lead St. Aloysius Junior High over ACCS

Natchez, Mississippi-A big night by Presley Carr led to the St. Aloysius Junior High School girls’ basketball team crushing Adams County Christian School 41-4. Carr finished with a game-high 22 points as she knocked down four 3-pointers in the win.
Kelsi Bingham scored seven points while Addie G. Clay and Copes both added four points each. Kennadi Blassingame and Elle Larson both scored two points.
The varsity girls’ team took a 41-32 loss to ACCS.

Anslee Averett had 7 points 5 rebounds 4 assists
Megan Theriot 5 points and 11 rebounds
Olivia Larsen 5 points and 6 rebounds

The varsity boys also fell short to ACCS 57-51.

On Monday, the Flashes junior high boys took down Benton Academy 30-17. Dru Gleese led with 11 points and Grant Gattle scored seven points. Patrick Southerland and John Hossley both added three points each while Adam Dorbeck, Evan Mallard, and Reeves Sadler all scored two points.
The Flashes are scheduled to continue district play on Friday against Copiah Academy at home where all four teams will play. They will then hit the road on Monday to face River Oaks Academy on Monday in Monroe, Louisiana where both the junior high and varsity teams will compete.
