Coach Rob Selected as a Finalist for the NHSACA Coach of the Year Award

Vicksburg, Miss.-Rob Morgan has been selected as a finalist for the National High School Athletic Coaches Association Coach of the Year Award. The finalists were announced on Monday when the Mississippi Association of Coaches shared it on their Facebook page.
Morgan is a football coach at Warren Central High School. He has been on the Vikings’ staff since 2011 and is now the Offensive Coordinator. Coach Rob recently helped WC to reach the North State Championship for the first time in three decades.

In 2024, the Vikings averaged 27.3 points per game and finished with a 9-4 record. Since joining WC’s staff in 2011, Coach Rob has helped the Vikings reach the postseason in 13 out of 14 years.
During his tenure at WC, a numerous amount of players who played on Coach Rob’s offense have signed collegiate scholarships to play on the next level.

Morgan is a Warren Central High School graduate where he played under his father Robert Morgan Sr. He is also the brother of WC Head Coach Josh Morgan and West Point High School Head Coach Brett Morgan. Coach Rob also played football at Mississippi State University.
