Coach Morgan also sponsors the Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter at WPHS and has mentored to countless young people over his career.

“I am honored and humbled to be the next Head Football Coach at West Point High
School. Today is not only about me; but about our entire football coaching staff, our current and former players, and the overall direction that our program has been trending for the past two decades. This is a sad day in a sense that we are all going to miss being with Coach Chambless on a day-to-day basis, but it
is also an exciting day that ensures that our program will be lead and run in the same manner that has allowed us to be so successful.”

“We are extremely blessed to have incredible leadership at the administrative level, unmatched community support, and the absolute toughest players in Mississippi. There are so many men that have poured blood, sweat, and tears into this program to make it what it is today. Our foundation of
toughness and family dates back over 50 years to the great West Point teams of the 70’s and 80’s. To all these men, I want to thank you for the effort you put into making this program what it is today.”

“Now, there is no time to waste as we have been right back at work since the State Championship Game… and make no mistake about it, the goal is and always will be State Champions.”
