Lady Vikes defeated Loyd Star on Saturday; boys ended in a tie

Warren Central High School girls’ soccer team defeated Loyd Star on Saturday and the boys came out with a tie.

Lady Vikes:

The Lady Vikes pulled off a 3-2 win where Jordan Polk, Brooke Steed and Rachel Opperman all scored a goal. Hayleigh Simmons grabbed six saves as WC improved to 10-4 on the year.

Boys:

The Vikings tied 2-2 with Loyd Star where Luke Bond and Tyler Godshaw both had a goal. Laney Lewis has both assist in the win while Colby Solomon had eight saves as WC improved to 9-4-1.

The Vikings will travel to play Neshoba Central on Tuesday.
