Community fundraiser for Moses L. Brown to be held July 26

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Friends, family, and neighbors are coming together Saturday, July 26, to show some love and support for Moses L. Brown—a man who’s spent years giving back to Vicksburg through music, service, and community.

The fundraiser for Brown will be held Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m. till at JJ’s Grub & Grill, located at 1325½ Clay St.

Brown, a longtime Vicksburg resident known as the leader of Projekt Band & Show and for operating Brown’s Car Wash on 2nd North Street, recently underwent major surgery and faces a long road to recovery. In response, friends, family, and neighbors have organized the fundraiser to help offset medical expenses.

Rib, chicken, and fish plates with two sides will be available starting at $12, depending on the choice of meat.
