Culkin Bridge over 61 North to Close

VICKSBURG, MS – The Culkin Road bridge over Highway 61 North will be closed for construction repairs.

MDOT has contracted the work and will close the bridge on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 7 a.m. The work will continue all weekend and the bridge is expected to open on Monday, October 7, 2024. At this point there is not a confirmed time for the bridge to open.

Plan on taking another route for those three days.

The ramp from 61 North to Culkin Road will be open if you need to travel east on Culkin Road. The ramp to Sherman Avenue is open to the north if you need to travel west on Culkin Road.
