Cynia Johnson commits to Holmes CC

VICKSBURG, Miss. – Cynia Johnson, Vicksburg High School girls’ basketball player, has verbally committed to playing at Holmes Community College. Johnson made the announcement on Friday in a social media post. 

“I am proud to announce that I am 1000% committed to Holmes Community College,” said Johnson in the post.

Cynia Johnson is currently having a breakout season for Vicksburg High where she is averaging double digits in points and rebounds. She is starring under Head Coach Troy Stewart.

The Missy Gators are currently 11-8 and 2-0 in district play.

VDN will catch up with Johnson at her initial signing day.
